This little symbol thingie and the Panda are from a card I received from Autumn Bradley-O'Rell a while back.  I needed more images so I took her card apart and mounted them on CS.  Thanks Autumn!

These little people are so cute.  Remember Weeble-Wobbles?

The sound of your voice
Softly whispering my name
Fills my heart with joy.

Three of these stars were on a Christmas card from Pat Huntoon;  the fourth was on a birthday card from Anne Case!!

Angels paint the sky
With stars of purest wonder
For they think of you

This might be a do-over.  Reminds me of a floppy disk.

This is that fan from page 13 with the handle cut off.

All the greatest things
Man has ever created
Were woven with love

I did this with scraps of paper!  My first- ever attempt at weaving.  Fun!

Dream wonderful dreams,
All you cherish and adore
I'll be there for you

Background says "dream" in brilliance ink, kinda hard to see.  Yeah, I know it's not Japanese but I was running out of ideas!

Charm says "dream"
Do I need something for the bottom of this page?

This page will probably be a do-over.  It reminds me too much of hazard signs!!

page 20...whew, last one!

I wish the texture and detail of this paper showed up better.  It's gorgeous in person.

Stamps and Supplies:

Kanji, Gifts from the Orient, Bitty Bolds, Itty Bitty Backgrounds and Nature's Wonder stamp sets are Stampin' Up!

Japanese Woman with Round Fan - A Stamp in the Hand Co.

Japanese Border (Love, Happiness, Long Life) - Stamp Oasis

Japanese Rice paper on first and last pages was received in a gift exchange

Black organdy ribbon is SU, so is the Southwest corner punch.

Gold cording is cheap-o Walmart stuff.

Inks used were Versamark, Ancient Page Coal Black and Brilliance Galaxy Gold.   Gold Glory EP from SU.

Eyelets are Making Memories (most of them anyway).  That sounds weird, huh.  I suppose I should say they are "by" Making Memories.

Charms on front cover and page 16 from Angel Schaff.

Dragonfly punch - Dollar Tree!!

Fan on front cover - Jolee's Boutique

Borrowed artwork and supplies from Autumn, Pat and Anne!

Lemme see, what else?  Good ol' school glue from Big Lots, the pattern for the book I got 3 years ago at Michael's and just now took it out of the package.  The bookboard came with it. Markers, WC pencils are SU.

The red CS is SU, some of the black is SU but the rest of the black and the gold are from Walmart.  When I finished making my pages I had ONE sheet of red and gold left, which is why you see so many little scraps used in the book.

Haiku by Gavin Broome and Jenny Mullins

The blood, sweat, tears and various and sundry swear words were all mine.  Ok really I didn't cry but I did bleed, sweat and cuss.

This was fun but I'll NEVER make one of these again!!  (yeah, yeah, I'll probably make another one next week.)

This was on a card I received from Trish Brunkhart nearly a year ago.  I don't know if she was the original artist or not but I sure am glad I kept the card!  The cord was originally silver but I changed it to match the rest of the book.

Oh, and fingernail polish is "Amber Chrome" by Sally Hansen.  This stuff rocks!   hehehe
