| Then things got way out of control. This is what it looked like when I started working on it a couple weeks ago - and this pic was taken after I'd been cleaning up for 5 hours!! |

| Feb 10: Now I finally have most of the furniture out. I moved everything I could move by myself. Gotta get some strong guys over to move the rest. Probably going to keep the chest of drawers. Definitely getting rid of the dressing table. Don't know about the dresser with mirror. The chair and the tv stay, along with the cat(s) LOL. I smoked pretty heavily in here for so long. The walls are badly nicotine stained. The black spot is where I had my stamp-n-scrub and the ink got on the walls! |

| End of Feb: Color!! I painted the walls Saturday. Got them finished except for up at the top obviously. I'll have to do that with the stepladder and by the time I got finished I was too tired to trust myself up on it. I did some stuff down on the floor but I had a hard time getting myself back up LOL. I tried to do too much in one day and spent most of today on the couch or in the recliner. I painted a little of the trim on one door and it's going to take several coats of white to get that awful green covered up. The blue is brighter in person. The pics just don't do it justice. I'm really pleased with how it's turning out. Once I get the trim and the top/bottom of the walls done, I'll move on to painting the furniture. I can do that sitting in a chair LOL. |
| March 28: Man, the further along I get in this pregnancy, the slower I get. I move like a turtle these days so it has taken me forever to get done. But finally, I have finished painting her room! I'm going to get a carpet remnant for now until we can get some new carpet put down. Her crib is here, just waiting to be put together and hopefully that will get done in the next couple days and I will start moving her stuff into her room and out of my den. I'm very pleased with the way it has turned out - these pics aren't that good because my digital camera isn't working right, but you get the idea. I need to get a new light fixture, possibly a ceiling fan. I think the furniture turned out really well too. From yellow/brown/nicotine stained to cute white with cutesy knobs! |
